Professional resource service provider Babylon Pump & Power Limited stated that it has signed a product and service supply agreement with Premier Coal Limited.

This agreement is used to overhaul Premier engines, provide service exchange engines and labor support as needed. Based on the quotation provided and the expected timeline provided, Babylon estimated total revenue over a three-year period, plus a possible one-year extension, to be approximately 16 million Australian dollars (11.4 million US dollars).

The initial term of the agreement is 3 years, starting on January 3, 2022, and can be extended for another year through a written notice from the Prime Minister. The expected timetable contained in the agreement specifies 44 engines during the three-year period.

Premier Coal claims to be the largest coal producer in Western Australia, and its open pit mining volume in Collie Coal Basin is approximately 4 Mt/y. The company is managed by Yancoal Australia on behalf of its major shareholder Yanzhou Coal Mining Company.

The Premier mine has a fleet of 240-ton trucks and large forklifts, as well as state-of-the-art crushing, mixing, and train and truck loading facilities.
