Jervois Global is conducting a "detailed review" of its winter construction schedule.

The mining company is working with EPCM M3 Engineering to determine future construction plans and how this will affect the proposed commissioning date. It is expected to be put into use in the second half of 2022.

Jervois expects that weather conditions will have a significant impact on winter construction plans.

The company has advanced to more than 136 feet at the west entrance and 100 feet at the east entrance in the first step of establishing underground mining infrastructure.

The company has pledged to purchase approximately three-quarters of the equipment and materials for the project, which will cost 36 million U.S. dollars in a capital budget of 92.6 million U.S. dollars.

The company has also ordered all long lead items for its processing plant, which is expected to start arriving early next month. Once the necessary permits are obtained, the mining camp units will arrive in late December, while the kitchen and support units are expected to arrive in February 2022.

Jervois said that delaying the opening of the camp will ensure labor safety.

Jervois has advanced construction of dry tailings storage facilities, mills, semi-automatic mills and ball mill foundations, and flotation plants.

The water treatment plant is expected to be completed and put into operation in early December, and the pumping system that transports water from the portal pumping station to the treatment plant is expected to be put into operation at the same time.

Jervois also hired a financial manager, factory manager and mine manager.
