The style of vintage and second-hand items.

Their appeal lies in several characteristics. Buying second-hand goods is more sustainable than buying new goods. Sometimes they are made using a different method or more durable material than the materials included in today's manufacturing process, making them durable. Of course, there is also aesthetic interest.

Neighbors can find many of these items in the Lakewood/East Dallas Online Garage Sale group.

The following are some of the content that caught our attention on the virtual market.

American Airlines' beverage cart. Photo courtesy of Lauren Nicole via Facebook.

This trolley has been used on airplanes for many years. Although it has signs of use, its wheels and rolling lock are still effective. It has six inserts and three service trays of different sizes. Each piece has the old airline logo.

Our neighbor will charge no less than $600 for this 41-inch tall, 33-inch wide, and 12-inch deep stroller.

This browning dish has a colonial blue farmhouse pattern. It is manufactured by Corning for Amana Radarrange.

These plates are said to promote browning of food because of the 2-inch deep tin oxide coating on the bottom of the plates. There are two signs of wear on this handle.

The casseroles provided by the same seller are also produced by Corning Ware and made in the United States. It has a blue cornflower pattern on it.

A quart casserole comes with a lid and is priced at $18.

This is an 8-foot storage tank made by Cowboy Pools, equipped with sand pump filters and unopened supplies, including nets, pool covers, chlorine tablets, thermometers, etc.

These pools are sturdy and durable, easy to get in and out, perfect for lounging and keeping cool. But our neighbor said it can be connected to a camping heater and turn it into a hot tub.

Children who can't swim can also use them because they are only 2 feet deep.

This massage bed is made by Living Earth Crafts, a company that has been in business since 1973. The company's website states that it uses farmed and renewable wood resources from managed forests and offsets its carbon footprint through tree planting programs.

It is red and has a price tag of $90.
